GIR - he's not stupid, he's advanced!!!

SO here it is!! The release of my GIR cosplay I wore to anime north 2013.

It was definitely a different experience wearing this cosplay to a convention. I had to have a handler for the first time ever (my boyfriend Jamie was kind enough to put up with being my eyes and ears for the weekend) and it was tough to see what was going on around me, but it was still very fun!!! I was so glad this year wasn't too hot. It was actually the coldest year to date since I started attending, so it was perfect that I had this cosplay, stayed nice and warm all weekend (mostly lol) If you saw me at the convention and I totally ignored you, just know it was because I couldn't hear you! hahah it was all muffled unless you were talking into the eyes

I hope you all enjoy these shots. I didn't get many, and I know some of them are con candid shots, but i wanted to show it off a little hahah I was wearing a backpack with a built in water carrier with a hose going into the mask, so i didn't get dehydrated XD and the piggy i just made from a big ball and painted on the details.

I made this cosplay 100% from scratch, and even topped it off with squeaky shoes!! People definitely heard me coming before they saw me a lot XD

I also found another GIR!!!! I was so stoked to have found her, I had never seen one at AN before, and the year I go, there's another one!! It was too perfect! If you know who this is, please let me know her contact info, the FB name she gave us at the con doesn't bring up anything, and I want to credit her for her amazing work =3
