2013- a year in cosplays

2013 has been an amazing year for cosplay! I started making/sewing my own cosplays this year, instead of buying them or getting other to make them for me. All the cosplays on this list were made completely by me, with a couple of exceptions like the renji and ichigo where the robes i didn't make, but the props I did. I'm so proud with how far i've come in just a year, and am excited to continue working hard to make awesome costumes. 

I started working a lot with armor this year, and this pattern will be continuing into 2014. I have a lot of plans with armor heavy costumes, with a lot more complexity than what i'm used to. You won't see this many costumes on the 2014 list, but I have a feeling it will be more impressive as I continue to grow as a cosplayer. 

I'm so thankful for all the people that were in my life in 2013, it was an amazing year filled with many life lessons. I hope 2014 is even better.
